Registration & Participation
- Entry: Drivers must register via SimGrid and join the official HML Discord server.
- Individual Championship: Competition is purely individual; team collaboration or on-track collusion is strictly prohibited.
- Points & Car Changes: A driver’s 9 best race results count toward the standings. Drivers may change cars once per season, but doing so forfeits all accrued points.
- Attendance Commitment: Unexcused dropouts from the league result in a 5-month ban from future HML events.
Settings & Vehicle Customization
- Allowed Assists: Only Automatic Clutch and Racing Line are permitted; all other driving assists are disabled.
- Custom Liveries: Permitted with prior Discord approval. Drivers must use the same livery all season (one switch allowed). Political, NSFW, or hateful content is strictly forbidden.
Track Limits & Racing Standards
- Track Limits: Defined by the white line (kerbs are considered part of the track where they're part of ingame track limits). In-game warning systems actively monitor violations.
- Overtaking & Defending: Drivers are entitled to space if the attacker’s front axle reaches the defender’s rear axle before turn-in.
- Defensive Moves: Defenders are allowed 1+1 direction changes on straights (one to defend, one to return to the line before braking). Weaving, moving under braking, and brake-testing are strictly banned.
Stewarding & Penalties
- Reporting Incidents: Only involved drivers can file an incident report, submitted via Discord ticket by 18:59 on the day following the race.
- Penalty Points: Infringements carry 1 to 3+ penalty points depending on severity. Accumulating 10 penalty points in 4 months results in an automatic 1-race ban.
- Conduct & Cheating: Cheating results in a permanent league ban. Toxic behavior, harassment, or abusing stewards on Discord or social media will result in severe penalties or immediate disqualification.
