Today’s update to LMU saw a massive change within the game as everyone was introduced to the first DLC of the year – The Tifosi Italia pack – which brings an up-to-date scan of the Imola circuit, along with the 2024 Lamborghini and Peugeot Hypercars.Â
Something else that may have flown under the radar was an update to the available setups you can use in Le Mans Ultimate, as Coach Dave Academy now give you FREE setups to use for all current GTE cars and the LMP2, which will accompany the Hypercar setups that arrived last month.
Get Your Coach Dave Setups In LMU
Coach Dave Academy has partnered with Studio 397 to produce FREE setups you can use directly from within the game itself. An industry first which started last month with the introduction of the free Hypercar setups and now continued with the LMP2 and GTE setups.
Whilst you’re in the garage you will now see more options for setup choices, including the default LMU sets and now the improved Coach Dave Academy sets for all available cars – apart from the brand new 2024 hypercars.Â
All the Coach Dave Academy setups have been created by rFactor 2 pros Yuri Kasdorp and Alen Terzic and these setups will help you shave whole seconds off your times. No joke!
Who Are Yuri And Alen
In short, Yuri and Alen have had A LOT of success on rFactor 2 competing for podiums or wins in the Virtual Le Mans series throughout the last 4 years. So they are well-equipped to deal with Le Mans Ultimate.
YURI KASDORP
Yuri found himself gravitating towards endurance racing on rFactor 2 because of the preparation required on both the driver and setup side of things is something which he enjoys. That wrapped up with winning the Le Mans 24 hours in varying leagues and doing the Le Mans Virtual Series with factory team Toyota.Â
From there Yuri had the opportunity to do esports full-time on various sims with teams like Singularity, Red Bull Racing Esports and now MOUZ.Â
Yuri currently competes on Rennsport with Mouz and is eagerly awaiting the chance to compete in Le Mans Ultimate competitively. You can follow Yuri on X here.
ALEN TERZIC
Just like Yuri, Alen got somewhat of an opportunity to get his name out there in the All-Star races during the Covid-19 lockdown with a couple of wins.Â
Alen also drove for Corvette Racing with Tommy Milner, Dennis Lind and Jan Magnussen in the 2020 Le Mans Virtual, finishing 4th in the GT class.
Since 2021 Alen has been driving for BMW BS Competition with a 5th and 3rd place finish at the 21 and 22 Virtual Le Mans. You can follow Alen on X here.
What Setups Are Available In This Update
You’ll now get FREE access to all 2023 cars in Le Mans Ultimate including all the Hypercars, GTEs and finally the LMP2. You also get the BMW M Hybrid machine that was part of the June update, with the latest 2024 Hypercars coming at a later date for all tracks, including Imola.
